COACHES RESOURCES

COMMUNITY RESOURCES

Mental well-being is crucial for athletes' performance and overall health. Just like physical strength, mental toughness matters too. When athletes prioritize their mental health, they enhance their focus and manage stress more effectively, which boosts their performance. A positive environment allows them to really excel!

Child and Adolescent Services/Child Youth and Family/Child and Adolescent Outpatient Clinical Services provide mental health and addiction services to children and youth (under the age of 19) within a client and family centered context.

Integrated Youth Services Nova Scotia (IYS-NS) will provide a safe space for youth aged 12 to 25 years to receive support for mental health, substance use and related issues. IYS-NS sites will offer young people and their caregivers free, rapid access to health and wellness resources, programs, services and supports within an integrated community-led partnership model.

LOVE supports youth to thrive through programs and healthy relationships that build emotional intelligence and help overcome the challenges they face. Our participants emerge from LOVE’s programs with greater resilience, heightened skills, and the confidence to be leaders.
